Why we do what we do
Hello from Shweta and Rael, we are two individuals that share a passion for human-centred innovation and an innate curiosity for how people learn. We believe in the transformative power AI and big data brings to responsive teaching and learning in helping organisations better understand, develop and future-proof the people they serve. Our belief is that human potential can be identified, supported and augmented through an improved understanding of people and the increasingly complex scenarios in which they need to act.
We are two people from across the world, India and South Africa, bonded over our vision of empowering people to know what to do when they don’t know what to do! In order to attain this vision we hope to help people discover their potential and continually find and redefine their place in the world.
After frustrating and eye-opening experiences, such as witnessing outdated textbooks still being used in schools, and struggling to recruit employees with entrenched antiquated skills formed from fractured educational systems, we both felt passionate about empowering and equipping youth with employability skills to prepare them for the future.
Since meeting and forming Cartedo, we have helped schools, organisations and nations identify high-potential youth and future leaders, and are now bringing the same science to help companies identify and nurture high-potential employees.
We’ve developed a platform that makes realising true potential easy by combining principles of future-readiness with data science.
We empower people to solve complex challenges and let data tell their development story and reduce bias. This helps companies understand their people better in a fair, cohesive and holistic way.
